What is Shellfish Harvesting On Foot?

It’s a fishing method performed on foot. Supporting vessel and snorkeling equipment can be used.

Target species: Clams, cockles, razor clams, among others.

Fishing gears: Individuals are collected by hand or using rudimentary fishing artefacts, such as harvesting knife, hand-rakers, hoe, and hand-dredges.
