The project EcoFilm_Shellfishing will develop a training course to promote the sustainable development of Shellfishing Harvesting on Foot, focusing on the ecological and environmental aspects.

Integrating information from Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and Italy to create and test an audiovisual training course.
To whom?
   
Stakeholders of shellfish harvesting on foot, such as shellfishers, governmental and control authorities, environmental training entities, among others.
Why?

  • Shellfish harvesting has high social, cultural and economic importance, as it represents strong traditions and is a significant source of income for several coastal communities in Europe.
